I make my fiber art items with love and an inspired, hipster heart! My hubby and I have grown a little family in the sweet small city of Lancaster, PA.

I love container gardening, vampires, knitting (of course), vintage shopping, shabby chic decorating, and audible.com. I enjoy my girl time, pampering myself or going out for a drink. Hey you only live once!

Hello!
 
How are you? I'm good. Really very good. I've been trying to "get myself together" taking care of my nails, cooking + cleaning, doing yoga, staying on my diet, and taking my multivitamin every day! I feel a lot better about myself. I recently discovered a ton of Yoga on our Comcast OnDemand (my husband works for Comcast so we have great cable!) So Yoga accessories are now on my "Me Want" list, and I think I'll get them here http://www.yogiboutique.com/ I have a yoga mat picked out in indigo blue, and I think I'll get a "Yoga blanket" as well!

Jerome and I have been browsing http://r5productions.com/ We're planning a weekend vacation for just us! Going to Atlantic City's beach for the day, and then to see a show (via that website) in Philly at night, and staying overnight in Philly. I'm super excited about it, can't wait!

Am totally happy, thrilled, obsessed with Season 2 of True Blood. Jerome and I watched the new episode last night, we drank daiquiris and I had mango sorbet! I can't wait to see what happens with Layfayette, and the pig, and Jessica's boyfriend, and and and....!!!!! They do such a good job at suspense!

mmm Vampires. I really want a subscription to audible.com so I can listen to Vampire books! Oh... and I'll need a new ipod too, k thnx. I have a Vampire sheep design in my head that shall grace the cover of some maryjanes soon. I promise! Shoes... I've been illustrating cute little kung fu maryjane flats, and I think I really hit a mark with these! They're super fun a such a great way to show off your fun knitty whimsy side!

I hand dye all of the white shoes with tea to get that shabby chic look. I try to make the shoe bags in matching colors. The illustrations are all head set so the shoes are ready to wear! I will be filling custom size requests as soon as I get $$$$ to order a big case of kung fu shoes! Hopefully that will be soon!     I've heard of True Blood, tho have not watched it. You might be really interested to read the following books (or get them on disc). They were really big when I was in high school.

    Queen of the Damned

    I love a fellow True Blood fan! It has completely become my favorite show....I only started watching it a few months back and now I am totally hooked. I can't wait to see what happens with the bell hop guy that has the same abilities as Suki! The whole show............ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....i loveeeeeeeeee itttttttt! =)

    Next week should be GOOOOOOOOOOD!

    true blood is totally rocking my world too...you sure are right about the suspense! Also, I would be super-happy to buy a pair of Mary Janes in size 10 with the cute mersheep and narwhal design! when you get your case, that is...

      Oops, I meant those blue maryjanes (not maryjane) are so cute. The blue color is just so great... I can't wait until I get a chance to see some of the second season of TrueBlood. Jimmy and I just finished Netflixing the first season recently...
